Acupressure Points for Acne
Acupressure is an effective natural method to help reduce acne by applying pressure to specific acupressure points on the body. The following are the commonly used acupressure points for acne that you can do on your own. Instead of using your fingers, you can also use a tool called an acupressure pen, which is a pen-like tool with a small rounded end. Once you master this simple self-care technique, you can use it anytime and anywhere.

Yanglao (SI6)
Yanglao, also known as Nourishing the Old, is often used to improve skin health and relieve skin infections. It is located on the dorsal aspect of the head of the ulna. Use your thumb and apply pressure or you can do circular motion with thumb.
Hegu (LI4)
Hegu, also known as Union Valley, can be used to improve skin health and reduce acne. It is located on the highest spot of the muscle when the thumb and forefinger are brought close together. Use your thumb and apply pressure or you can do circular motion with thumb. This procedure should have been repeated for the other hand.

Quchi (LI11)
Quchi, also known as Crooked Pool, is commonly used for skin health. It is located on the side of the elbow, on the outer side of the arm. Use your thumb and apply pressure or you can do circular motion with thumb.
Sanyinjiao (SP6)
Sanyinjiao, also known as Three Yin Intersection, can be used to reduce acne. It is located at four finger widths above the ankle, behind the inside border of the tibia. It should be pressed with the thumb for 5 minutes (6 seconds pressure and 2 seconds rest) as far as pain is tolerable. This procedure should have been repeated for the other foot.
