Wáng xiān shēng, nín hǎo

A more formal "good evening" when meeting a person for the first time.
Lǐ xiǎo jiě, wǎn shàng hǎo. Rèn shí nín hěn gāo xìng
“Good evening, Ms. Li. Pleased to meet you.”
李小姐,晚上好。认识您很高兴。
Wǎn shàng hǎo, rèn shí nín wǒ yě hěn gāo xìng.
“Good evening. I am pleased to meet you, too.”
晚上好,认识您我也很高兴。

A "good night" greeting amongs family.
Wǒ qù shuì jiào le. Wǎn ān, bà ba mā ma
“I’m going to go to bed. Good night, dad and mum.”
我去睡觉了。晚安,爸爸妈妈。

“Good night, baby.”
晚安,宝贝。
