Nǐ mén yǒu yīng wén cài dān ma?
“Do you have an English menu?”
你们有英文菜单吗？
Yǒu, gěi nín
“Yes, here you are.”
有，给您。
Yǒu shén me tè sè cài?
“What specialties do you have?”
有什么特色菜？
Wǒ mén yǒu má pó dòu fǔ hé gōng bǎo jī dīng
“We have spicy sautéed bean curd with pepper and diced chicken stir fried with red pepper and peanuts.”
我们有麻婆豆腐和宫保鸡丁。
Wǒ diǎn má pó dòu fǔ
“I want the spicy sautéed bean curd with pepper.”
我点麻婆豆腐。

Mǎi dān
“Bill, please.”
买单。
Xiān shēng, yī gòng shì sān shí kuài qián
“Sir, thirty dollars in total.”
先生，一共是三十块钱。
Néng bāng wǒ dǎ bāo ma?
“Can you put it in a doggy bag?”
能帮我打包吗？
Dāng rán kě yǐ
“Of course.”
当然可以。
Yǒu fā piào ma?
“Do you have receipts?”
有发票吗？
Duì bù qǐ, méi yǒu fā piào
“I’m sorry, we’re do not offer receipts.”
对不起，没有发票。
